Mata Collective Exhibition

Inaugural exhibition of the Mata collective, presenting seven works created specifically for the show. With no single overarching theme, each work continued its maker's ongoing research, united by a shared focus on the human condition: physicality, mores, habits, beliefs, and behavior. The exhibition opened without an audience in response to the pandemic.

Nurbol Nurakhmet presented the Panopticon collage series, depicting people as hostages of their own bodies. Artists: Aïda Adilbek, Dana Iskakova, Leonid Khan, Nazira Karimi, Nurbol Nurakhmet, Zhanel Shakhan, Roman Zakharov.
